1. Service Overview

Recharge Travels provides private airport transfers, hotel transfers, and guided tours in Jaffna and Northern Sri Lanka. All services are operated by SLTDA-licensed drivers and guides. By booking any service, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking & Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made via our website, WhatsApp (+94 777 721 999), or email
  • A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation message with driver details
  • All prices quoted are fixed and include fuel, tolls, and driver service
  • Prices are per vehicle, not per passenger (unless stated otherwise for tours)

3. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Prices are fixed at the time of booking — there is no surge pricing, no meter charges, and no hidden fees. Additional charges may apply for: waiting time beyond 60 minutes (LKR 500/hour), extra stops not included in the original booking (LKR 500/stop), or late-night surcharges (none — we offer 24/7 service at the same rate).

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Free cancellation — up to 48 hours before scheduled pickup
  • Late cancellation (24–48 hours before) — 50% of booking value
  • No-show or last-minute cancellation (less than 24 hours) — no refund
  • Our cancellation — if we cancel, you receive a full refund or free rebooking
  • Cancellations can be made via WhatsApp or email

5. Flight Delays & Waiting

For airport transfers, we track your flight in real-time. If your IndiGo flight from Chennai or Tiruchirappalli is delayed, your driver will adjust their arrival time at no extra cost. Your driver will wait up to 60 minutes after your flight lands. Beyond 60 minutes, a waiting charge of LKR 500/hour applies.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate pickup location, contact number, and flight details
  • Be ready at the agreed pickup time and location
  • Treat the vehicle and driver with respect
  • Wear seatbelts at all times (required by Sri Lankan law)
  • No smoking in vehicles
  • Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings

7. Luggage

Standard luggage allowances are listed per vehicle type on our booking pages. For oversized luggage, surfboards, or special equipment, please inform us at the time of booking so we can arrange an appropriate vehicle.

8. Child Seats

We provide child seats free of charge on request. We have rear-facing infant seats and forward-facing toddler seats. Please request at the time of booking or via WhatsApp.

9. Tours — Specific Terms

  • Tour prices include: AC vehicle, driver, English/Tamil guide, entrance fees, and local lunch (unless stated otherwise)
  • Tour itineraries may be adjusted due to weather, road conditions, or ferry schedules
  • For island tours (Delft, Nainativu), ferry availability depends on weather and navy schedule
  • Tours are private — your group only, no shared buses

10. Liability

All vehicles are fully insured and drivers are SLTDA licensed. Recharge Travels is not liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, strikes, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be resolved through mediation first, and if necessary, through the courts of Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
